The Search for Mr. & Miss STI 2009

The Search for Mr. & Miss STI 2009 was over, that was so exciting and quite some awful. The contestants really don’t know how to answer that simple question about the school’s vision and mission. It was embarrassing scenery of our school as some of my friends from other school

said. Of course I was defending my school from their judgments. As far as I know they were just nervous that’s why they were not able to answer the question intelligently. I knew those guys and they were cool and friendly. Whatever they’d say, I don’t care! Maybe they were just trying to fool me or pull down our awesome school’s reputation.

I was one of the guys that were assigned at the dressing room to help my classmate Jay-Ar on his costumes and make ups during the pageant night. Almost all of the contestants have their own makeup artist and costumes properly organized and complete. Despite the fact that they were fated to compete with each other I can feel the brotherhood among them. It’s like they were just enjoying the atmosphere with each other and there was no competition at all.

After the pageant night, I went home with the thought of “I must of have friends like those guys!” Those that have concerns for their friends, those that were naturally open minded and those that were ready to sympathize you on your problems no matter what it was.
